FlyDogz-Puerto Rico is dedicated to helping find Satos (mixed breeds from Puerto Rico) a _freedom_ flight to NY, NJ, and Florida. We work with local rescues/independent rescuers in Puerto Rico, who rescue and rehabilitate stray and abused dogs from the island. We work tirelessly to connect our rescue partners with people traveling to and from Puerto Rico, helping to rehome dogs in the United States.

It is our mission to help our community by providing temporary assistance of pet food to families during difficult times so that they will not have to surrender any pets. Our goal is to keep pets with their families and out of shelters.

Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving beagles and placing them in loving homes. Our beagles come in as strays, from shelters, and as owner surrenders. Some come into rescue needing only current vaccinations, regular meals, and love; others need extensive vetting, nutritional support, or even lifesaving surgery. We do all we can to help every beagle in need who crosses our path.

The mission of the AACSPCA shall be to serve as the leading private nonprofit organization within Anne Arundel County, which exists to protect companion animals from acts of cruelty and neglect.

Last Chance Animal Rescue, Inc. (LCAR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving cats and dogs from unnecessary euthanasia due to overpopulation. We achieve this goal through high-quality, high-volume spay, neuter, adoptions and animal care. Since its inception in 1999, Last Chance has found loving homes for more than 200,000 animals. We nurse the injured and protect the weak, advocating for what is in the best interest of rescue, homeless, and owned animals.

Our mission is to reach dogs in need of a second chance. These dogs often have medical and training needs prior to their adoption, and The Chance Foundation is poised to do whatever it takes to prepare them for their forever homes. In fact, it is these rehabilitative services that make us unique from the many shelters and rescues in the region.

Their Voice Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue serving Northern Virginia and beyond. We concentrate on the rescue of high-risk dogs from kill shelters nationwide. Our organization was founded on a deep-rooted, unwavering commitment to give a voice to suffering animals.All lives matter! Together we can improve the treatment of animals worldwide and bring joy back into the lives of innocent, silenced dogs in need.

The Clarke County Animal Shelter is a government-run, "open admission" shelter. "Open admission" means we receive animals regardless of their behavior, health, or level of adaptability, and that we do not turn away any unwanted or stray animals from the towns and unincorporated communities of Berryville, Boyce, Millwood, White Post, Waterloo, Calmes Neck, Frog Town, and parts of Bluemont. We are not considered a no-kill shelter. The shelter takes in roughly 900 animals a year, with the totals growing each year. We take GREAT pride in both: Keeping the shelter clean and inviting and giving the animals in our facility the greatest love, care, and attention as possible. This is all managed by two full-time employees and volunteers. Along with a small facility comes a small budget. Our local Humane Foundation funds the spaying and neutering of all shelter pets and occasionally helps us with the unexpected and emergency vet bills.

We at MHF believe that all animals, both large and small, have the right to safe and sanitary living conditions, protection from abuse and neglect, and to live their lives in an environment free from pain and fear. All Shepherd Rescue rescues homeless / at risk German Shepherds and provides veterinary care and a safe haven until a forever home is found.

The mission of For Otis Sake Rescue is to rescue, rehab, and rehome dogs pulled from high kill shelter and animal control facilities.

Reeds Rescue is a non-profit volunteer dog rescue organization serving the Northern Baltimore County area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs of senior age or deemed to be terminally ill from area shelters, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of decompensating in the shelter environment. We often take the most vulnerable population from a shelter.

Our mission is to reduce the euthanization of feral and abandoned kittens - to get them their vaccines, spayed and neutered and find them loving forever homes.
