Romania Animal Rescue was founded in 2003.

Center of Hope Hospital in Romania is our headquarters. There, we run our massive spay/neuter outreach (as well as mobile spay neuter Spayathons). As of 2026, we are approaching 150,000 spays and neuters. We have a team of veterinarians who also train local and international veterinarians in highly skilled surgical techniques for spaying and neutering. RAR also has the Homeless Animals Hospital Program, which provides free medical care for homeless animals, as well as assistance to the pets of impoverished individuals, rescue organizations, and private shelters. This program helps approximately 3000 dogs and cats per year.

We specialize in rescuing senior, special needs, shy and plain dogs and cats from Contra Costa County Animal Shelters. We also provide spay/neuter services for up to 26 mom cats and their entire litter each year. We also vet and transfer dogs/cats from our local shelters to groups/shelters. Our Rescue Connect Clinic provides affordable services to other rescue groups for NON spay/neuter needs (dentals, hernia repair, cherry eye.

Westside Animals for Adoption is committed to rescuing, training and adopting dogs into new homes as well as to providing resources that keep the human-animal bond strong.

Animal Services' main responsibility is, via licensing, ensuring all dogs have current vaccinations to help prevent the spread of rabies. We strongly encourage spaying and neutering to prevent pet overpopulation. We strive to find forever homes for the animals brought into our shelter, and we work closely with several shelters and rescues to transfer some of our critters to other locations so they can find a forever home there. We are extremely proud of our high rate of good outcomes! We also offer microchipping for $15, and all animals adopted from us leave here with a registered microchip.

The Sacramento SPCA is the only full-service 100% nonprofit animal shelter in the region that provides animals and the people who love them with compassionate, affordable support and care, including helping families say goodbye to a cherished pet. Unlike many other organizations, the Sacramento SPCA is independent, relying on donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations to fund its operations. This allows all funds to stay within the local community, directly benefiting the animals and families of Sacramento.

Rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering and finding homes for unwanted, abandoned and abused Northern breed dogs: Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, and mixes of these breeds.

Our mission is to establish and enhance services that benefit the lives of shelter animals in Contra Costa County. We are Dedicated to rescuing Poodles and enriching the lives of those who adopt them. Our goal is to own our Poodle Rescue Facility, double the number of rescues we place, provide shelter, medical and behavioral care, adoption events, grooming and Community outreach. Our programs currently provide Spay and Neutering, Veterinary exams, Vaccinations, Medical and Dental treatment, Micro-chipping for all our dogs.

Dutch Country Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 organization headquartered outside of Philadelphia, PA. Our vision is for all animals to be given the opportunity to live in a peaceful environment with a warm place to rest their head, proper medical care, a full belly, and to truly know the meaning of love. We have rescued more than 50 dogs this year that were within 24 hrs of being euthanized.

Our mission here at Maddie's Fund is to revolutionize the status and well-being of companion animals. Maddie's Fund believes that companion animals have intrinsic value and deserve to be respected and cherished as family members; they are an integral part of our community and our world, and by their very nature, enhance our lives, our families and our society.

A-PAL is a humane society dedicated to reducing shelter intake and increasing the shelter save rate through spay/neuter, adoption and education. Pawspartners.org promotes our mission online as we work with 5 local veterinarian partners to provide services to Amador County residents and animals.

SNIP Bus Mobile Spay and Neuter Imperative California is a low-cost spay and neuter clinic on wheels, focusing its operations on the many under-served, often indigent pet owners in five California counties. Founded in 2016, to date SNIP has fixed nearly 25,000 pets! We provide accessibility and affordability to a population who otherwise would not be able to afford these services.

Paws In Need, a 501 (c) (3) organization, is dedicated to improving animal welfare in our surrounding local communities. Our mission is to reduce dog and cat overpopulation through an aggressive spay and neuter program to give our local residents access to affordable services; and to provide financial assistance to the low-income, homeless and elderly populations by covering a one-time expense for urgent veterinary care procedures.

As an all-volunteer organization, our vision is to end the suffering of cats that are abandoned and homeless in our county by rescuing, spaying and neutering, providing needed medical care, and helping to find adoptable cats a loving, permanent home. We strive to provide a better life for feral cats through sterilization and by feeding and monitoring feral colonies.

The mission of the Calaveras Humane Society is to promote an excellent quality of life for the animals of our county. Our vision is to work toward the day when every adoptable animal will have a forever home and when sterilization is a routine part of dog and cat care. We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 organization.
