The Underdog Railroad is a non-profit, volunteer based transportrescue dedicated to transporting dogs from over crowded sheltersthose at risk of going to a shelter to receiving sheltersrescues in areas that have room to care for them. Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, MontanaWyoming are our primary destinations, although we focus our transports on IdahoUtah. Since its inception in March of 2017, we have transported or sent to rescue over 1,000 dogs (5 kittens1 rabbit too) at an average cost of $10.48 per animal. We strive to use our donated dollars to the best of our abilitiesthank you for your support of our mission of helping dogs out of over crowded CA shelters.

The Pet Fund is the largest national nonprofit that pays for veterinary care for those who cannot afford it. When pet owners cannot afford needed veterinary care, the options are surrender of loved animals to shelters or euthanasia. The Pet Fund works to keep loved animals out of shelters and home with the families who need them.

Solano Kitten Network is a volunteer-based rescue group whose mission and purpose is to reduce the feral cat population through education, sterilization, feeding, shelter, and medical care. We also provide homes for cats and kittens through our adoption program. All felines adopted are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and treated for parasites.
ShepHeroes is a non-profit animal rescue organization with a deeply experienced team of volunteers focused on carefully placing German Shepherd Dogs into loving homes that match the dog's temperament, activity level, and needs. Our dogs receive veterinary care and reside in volunteer foster homes while waiting for loving homes, and are altered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. We focus our efforts on sound German Shepherd Dogs who are at risk due to abandonment, neglect, and abuse or significant change in circumstances. For the safety of our volunteers and adopters, we do not accept aggressive dogs into our program.

Solano County Sheriff's Office Animal Care Division serves all 7 cities and unincorporated county.Annual intake averages 8000 animals including domestic pets and livestock.We strive to provide outstanding customer service to both our community members and the pets in our care.In addition to shelter services we offer a public vaccine and spay/neuter clinic. We work with many rescues and shelter transfer partners to find the perfect placement for our animals.
Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to rescuing cats and dogs (and more!) from high-kill shelters. We are an all-volunteer organization. Our group is 100% foster home based. We do not have a shelter, all of our animals are cared for by devoted volunteers in their homes which allows us to get to know them better. Our rescue animals receive all necessary medical attention until permanent homes are found.
