The Foundation supports the Los Angeles County Department of Animal CareControl through fundraising for spay-and-neuter programs, pet adoptions, public education and animal welfare.

Hounds and Heroes, founded by Bonnie-Jill Laflin, Sports Broadcaster, and the only female scout in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers, is a national nonprofit dedicated to lifting the spirits and morale of our active, wounded, and veteran military troops worldwide, and to increase community awareness, education, and involvement about the cruelty to animals and necessary care for animals through rescue, foster and adoption.

Every year millions of unwanted companion animals are euthanized across the United States. Animal Wellness Foundation (AWF) rescues homeless animals from the streets and high-kill shelters and places them into loving permanent homes. We also assists low income families with veterinary expenses as a way to keep companion animals with their families and out of the shelters.

Star Paws Rescue was founded by renowned film and television casting director Victoria Burrows in response to the overwhelming need to care for abandoned, abused and injured dogs in the city of Los Angeles.

Forte Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization, seeking solutions for pet-overpopulation, as well as working together with the community to cultivate the human-animal bond through educational programs and activities. We inspire compassion and responsibility for animals, in addition to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for companion animals.

We service Seniors, Homeless, Low Income, and Homebound individuals in and around Long Beach, who otherwise may not have adequate means to take proper care of their pets.Spay/neuter is now mandatory in Long Beach because of shelter overpopulation due to a large amount of unwanted puppies and kittens in the facility, leading to euthanasia of many of them. Fix Long Beach is an all-volunteer effort intended to mitigate these numbers. We have been recognized by the Long Beach shelter and several city council members for fixing over 5,000 pets and having contributed to a 70% decline in euthanasia numbers.Our mission is to make long beach a no kill city. We worked with City council to change the law in Long Beach in 2015 to make Spay and Neuter mandatory and our goal in the next two years is the make this law state-wide.

Kitty Bungalow, Charm School for Wayward Cats, is dedicated to a humane solution to cat over-population by focusing on feral colony sterilization and maintenance, and socialization and adoption of feral kittens and stray cats in the Los Angeles area. We provide TNR services to community cats by doing local outreach and identifying problem areas as well as connecting low income pet owners with spay neuter resources.

At Hectic Paws Animal Rescue, we are dedicated to rescuing orphaned bottle babies, including squirrels, possums, kittens, and puppies. Our mission is to provide them with the care they need until they can find their forever homes.

We take in and rescue cats and kittens from local animal shelters, our feral colonies and owner surrenders. We also rescue and help re-home several dogs and rabbits each year. We have TNR projects where we feed, give fresh water to and monitor at least 100 feral cats each day. We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 non profit, no-kill cat rescue.

We are currently developing a dedicated facility aimed at providing a safe haven for dogs rescued from kill shelters. In collaboration with Bestybnb, our initiative extends to safeguarding the pets of domestic violence victims, ensuring their well-being until they can be joyfully reunited with their owners. While our facility is under construction, we are actively supporting Los Angeles-based rescues by supplying essential items such as food and health supplements. This endeavor reflects our commitment to animal welfare and our community's compassionate spirit.

The mission of the Old English Sheepdog Rescue is to place healthy but unwanted purebred Old English Sheepdogs in loving homes. Over 1700 Old English Sheepdogs have been helped by our rescue program since 1989. The Olde English Sheepdog Rescue of Southern California's area of rescue includes Fresno to the North, the California state border to the East, the Pacific Ocean to the West and San Diego to the South.
