The Companion Animal Trust mission is to help homeless cats find permanent homes. We practice and promote a no kill philosophy of compassion over killing.We also practice and advocate Trap Neuter Returnfor feral cats.
Our mission is to help and support unwanted animals in need of rescue from suffering, abandonment, abuse and/or euthanasia by responsibly fostering them and facilitating their adoptions into loving and committed homes.
We are a foster-based small animal rescue group. All of the animals in our care are immediately placed into foster homes until their perfect match can be found. Our founder has nearly 30 years experience training dogs and other animals. Through her work as a professional trainer, she has gained a special understanding of the human/dog dynamic. We strive to rescue and rehabilitate as many pets as possible. Our focus is on pairing the right pet in with the right home.
Brooklyn Animal Action strives to make a difference. We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress. Working with our communities, we facilitate Trap-Neuter-Release programs, find homes for adoptable animals, perform community outreach and education, and engage in advocacy. Since our founding in 2010, BAA has rehomed nearly 500 cats, as well as the occasional dog or pigeon.

The animal shelter serves the community by enforcing Town codes pertaining to responsible dog ownership. We respond to assistance calls from residents, reunite lost dogs with their owners and help find new homes for the stray and abandoned dogs in our care. Infinite Hope is an all-volunteer not-for-profit animal rescue organization located in Brooklyn, NY. Since its inception in early 2004, Infinite Hope has placed over 1,000 animals in loving homes and provided care to hundreds more cats through TNR projects. We are dedicated to caring for and finding homes for abandoned animals and addressing the problem of stray, unaltered animals, through action and education. CPAW NJ provides local residents with solutions to reduce cat overpopulation and suffering through on the ground collaboration for trap, neuter, vaccinate and return (TNVR) and surrender prevention support such as food and behavior counseling in the service of cat (and human) welfare. We envision a world in which cats receive adequate care in their familiar places and the human/animal bond is preserved.
MeowSquad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population by using Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats that can be re-socialized or relocate those who cannot into working safe environments.
We provide shelter, food and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted companion animals and find them permanent, loving homes. We provide free spay/neuter for feral cats and to people who do not qualify or cannot afford low-cost spay/neuter options.
A Pathway to Hope is a foster based rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of abandoned dogs and cats, with a focus on special needs cases, south to north rescue of northern breed dogs, local rescue of stray cats and all breeds of dogs and community outreach to further the cause of rescue.
