Our mission is to Spay/Neuter all feral cats in the Twp. of West Orange, NJ. We officially started after fighting for 1-1/2 yrs to obtain an ordinance. This was obtained on February 9, 2016.

East Orange Animal Alliance's mission is to provide resources that enable the City of East Orange to most effectively care for its at-risk animals and support the people who are dedicated to them. Our volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) organization carries out this mission by fundraising for needs above and beyond the City of East Orange Animal Shelter's budget, increasing exposure for the shelter's adoptable animals, funding shelter diversion programs to keep pets in homes, and connecting the shelter's animals with adopters and rescue groups.

The Alan Purcell Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing for the humane treatment of dogs and cats in the Township of Wayne and surrounding communities. Each year the shelter cares for the lives of approximately 1,000 animals. Through its aggressive adoption, spay/neuter, community outreach and humane education programs the Shelter is committed to stimulating the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals.

We help dogscats that are sick or injured, abandoned or abused. We provide medical care, socialization and love until we can find them forever homes. We work to provide affordable veterinary care, and to create a fund to offset medical costs for pet owners who are unable to afford it. We strive to reduce the unnecessary euthanasia incurred on pets in overcrowded shelters and encourage community participation and education.

Homeless Tails is a non-profit 501(c)(3) cat rescue organization dedicated to saving and finding loving homes for cats. We provide low cost spay/neuter, temporary shelter, adoptions and Trap-Neuter-Return services to all cats in need. Homeless Tails gives a chance to cats life and society were not kind to. Our mission is to save as many cats as we can and give them a chance to be happy and loved.

Brick City Rescue Inc (BCR) is dedicated to finding loving, stable homes for all adoptable homeless dogs in NJ with a main focus on Bully Breeds. We encourage compassionate and responsible behavior and supply training, food, shelter and medical care to all of our animals. We service as a community resource, disseminating valuable information to the public by promoting responsible pet ownership and providing education regarding breed discrimination.

We are an animal rescue that is devoted to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome dogs that are located at the NYC Animal Care Centersother nearby shelters. We place them into loving fosteradoptive homes.

Grateful Paws rescues, provides foster care, and finds permanent homes for animals given up or abandoned by their owners, born outside, or in life-threatening danger. We also work on the 'trap, neuter, return' or 'TNR' model for trapping feral cats, neutering/spaying them, and then releasing them back to their colony. TNR is one of the most humane and effective ways of reducing the population of unwanted cats.

Real Dog Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization working with a network of foster homes and volunteers to assist in caring for and providing accommodations for our dogs until forever families can be found. We specialize in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs in need of a new outlook on life and a new hope for a happier forever.We have experience with many different types and breeds of dogs of all ages, from pregnant moms and new born pups to our special seniors and hospice cases.

RBARI'S primary mission is to provide sanctuary and permanent loving homes for the many animals (including elderly, handicapped, and formerly abused) that come through our doors. In addition to food, shelter, medical care, and training, all of our animals receive lots of love by staff & volunteers. All animals are provided an open-ended stay in a warm, safe place until loving homes can be found.

Our primary focus is saving adult and senior German Shepherds and mixes.

Anarchy Animal Rescue was founded in December 2010 out of need and desire to help address two major animal crises in this country - unwanted adoptable pets and the mistreatment and abuse of animals due to puppy mills.
