Masala is a stunning gentleman with movie-star looks and the quiet confidence to match. This gorgeous boy knows he’s beautiful — and maintaining that luxurious fur coat is practically a part-time job. Good thing he enjoys a nice grooming session to keep everything in top form. Independent by nature, Masala is the kind of cat who appreciates a peaceful home and a predictable routine. His top priority in life? Naps. Long ones. Cozy ones. Undisturbed ones. A sunny spot, a soft blanket, or a plush bed fit for royalty will earn you major points. While he values his personal space, Masala absolutely enjoys affection on his terms. When he’s in the mood, he’ll grace you with cuddles and gentle companionship, reminding you that love from an independent cat is extra special because it’s earned. Masala would thrive with someone who respects his rhythm — a calm home where he can lounge in luxury, keep his coat immaculate, and share sweet, low-key bonding moments. If you’re looking for a handsome, dignified companion who brings peaceful vibes, soft fur, and just the right amount of affection, Masala is ready to rule your heart (and your comfiest chair). *Masala is temporarily living in a foster home until they find their family. If you would like to meet Masala, we recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Adoptions Specialists, so we can ensure they are here to meet you when you arrive. About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
