Odie is a 2-year-old black and white mixed breed with a heart as soft as his velvety ears. This sweet boy is the perfect blend of playful and peaceful. He loves making new friends, both human and furry. He greets everyone with a happy wag and gentle eyes. Odie's favorite things include cozy cuddle sessions, belly rubs, and being right by your side. He has a calm, loving nature and a naturally gentle spirit, making him a wonderful companion for families, singles, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill.
