Kiara is a beautiful young dog who has been quietly blossoming right before our eyes. When she first arrived, she was unsure of the world, but each day her confidence continues to grow. It has been incredibly rewarding to watch her come out of her shell. As she becomes more comfortable, Kiara’s affectionate nature is shining through. She enjoys gentle attention, likes being close to her people, and is starting to show more of her playful, youthful energy. Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.
