Rowdy is a 1-year-old brown domestic short hair who lives up to his name in the best way possible. He’s the fearless first explorer—always the first to dart out the door, the first to investigate something new, and definitely the first to make it to the food bowls. Bursting with energy, Rowdy turns every space into a playground, leaping onto anything he can reach and keeping himself constantly on the move. He’s also the resident toy enthusiast, especially when feather wands, sparkly little toys, or crinkled paper stuffed with catnip are involved. If it makes noise or flutters, Rowdy is all in. In short, Rowdy is a high-energy adventurer with a playful heart—a cat who brings excitement, curiosity, and a whole lot of personality wherever he goes. Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.
