When you Strut Your Mutt, you’re raising funds for the animals in your community.

The money you raise, including your registration fee, goes directly to the animals of Best Friends or your favorite local participating animal welfare organization.

We're excited to partner with people like you to help save the lives of homeless pets in the Salt Lake City area.

Support your local shelter

This year, organizations all across Salt Lake City are participating in Strut Your Mutt to raise money and save the lives of animals in their care. You can show your support for one of these participating shelters or rescue groups when you make a one-time donation:

Why do we strut?

We strut to raise money to save the lives of the dogs and cats who need it most.

Every day, nearly 1,200 dogs and cats are killed in shelters simply because they don’t have safe places to call home. But together, we can bring our best friends home and Save Them All.

When you choose to participate in Strut Your Mutt, you can support and raise funds for Best Friends or your favorite participating animal welfare organization. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping homeless pets.

Participants in the 2024 Strut Your Mutt in Salt Lake City raised over $50,000.
