Devoted animal lover and Oscar winner Charlize Theron has brought considerable media attention to Best Friends through her attendance at our Super Adoption and Lint Roller fundraising events; and the actress/producer's advocacy doesn't stop there. She wrote the foreword for "Dog Tips from Dogtown: A Relationship Manual for You and Your Dog." Additionally, she took the time while filming in London, to call the chairperson of the Los Angeles City Council to ask for his support in contracting with Best Friends Animal Society to create the Best Friends Pet Adoption and Spay/Neuter Center.
"The Best Friends Animal Society does incredible work by dedicating themselves to promoting kindness towards animals," says Charlize. "I think their compassion has made such a difference."
