Hilary is also the recipient of awards from the Hollywood Foreign Press, the Screen Actors Guild, and BAFTA, as well as multiple film critics societies.

In addition to her busy film career, Hilary is a devoted animal lover and avid supporter of Best Friends. She served as host of the 2012 launch of our NKLA initiative at the House of Blues in Los Angeles and was among the celebrity attendees at the grand opening of our Best Friends Mission Hills Pet Adoption and Spay/Neuter Center in Los Angeles that same year. Hilary previously attended Best Friends' Lint Roller events.

"As a lifelong animal advocate, finding organizations that share the same passion for animal welfare and rights is important to me," says Hilary. "Best Friends Animal Society is truly making huge strides in the no-kill quest to ensure animals are adopted and none are euthanized in shelters. What I continually see is their genuine love and steadfast care for all animals. Every soul deserves a chance at life, and the work Best Friends Animal Society is doing ensures thousands of animals will have that liberty."
