Best Friends Animal Society launches a new website that is faster and easier to use, with a more engaging design.
By Best Friends staff

Over the last few years, we've heard from many of you about our website. Most of you love the stories and pictures we post, but a lot of you also let us know that our website had become difficult to navigate and felt a bit outdated.

Best Friends Animal Society's new website

Well, we agreed with you, so we've been working very hard on a new website. Set to go live late on Friday, October 19th, it's a complete overhaul of how we present our information to you on the web. Don't worry, you'll still find all the great content you love on bestfriends.org, such as the Guardian Angel section and animal progress journals, information on visiting the Sanctuary, and resources. Our belief and hope are that the new site makes all of that information easier to find, read and interact with.

We'll still be providing the ability to comment on news stories and the Guardian Angel section … we love your participation! We're using more of our beautiful photos and videos, which we hope will mean a richer experience for you. Even though you may be thousands of miles away, we want you to feel like you're right there with us! And for the first time ever, we're going to have an interactive Sanctuary map that allows you to zoom around the Sanctuary and see it like never before.

Your existing memorials will still be available to view (and of course, you will still be able to create new memorial gifts). We've added some new ways to give online, too, which we hope will make the process of giving easier than ever before.

Your feedback wanted

We're really excited for this, and we think you're going to love it. As always, we'd love to hear from you. Please take a look at the site when it launches, and send us your feedback. We've created an email address just for your feedback. That is sitefeedback@bestfriends.org.

Thank you for everything you do for the animals, each and every day.
