Male Mixed Breed (Medium) named Ready Freddy available for adoption

Introducing Ready Freddy! He is adorable one-year-old mixed breed male. Freddy is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a loving personality that's sure to win your heart. He's eager to learn and ready to become the best companion he can be.

His fosters say he is energetic and goofy. He is genuinely a sweet boy. Does not have any food aggression and "has always been comfortable with us touching his paws, his ears, etc. He's truly a NY dog, and isn't taken aback by smaller spaces nor loud noises. Plus, your neighbors will love him because he is not a barker in the slightest. Although full of energy, he enjoys mostly moments of company which are often very calm and relaxed. He is very much a contact dog."

"Freddy's favorite activities include throwing toys up in the air and playing catch with himself. He'll prance/hop instead of run to them, and then he'll pounce on them too. He also adores couch time with humans, or just being loved up. His all time favorite activity is chewing on his toys and bones/treats!"

He is a clever pup who is eager to please. He still has a bit to go to be fully potty trained but is picking up quickly on all the cues and training. He still exhibits mouthiness which will need to be worked on. He knows the commands "sit" and "stay."

Freddy is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and microchipped. He's also dewormed and ready to join his new family.

Ready Freddy is currently available to meet you in person at Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center located at 307 West Broadway, near Canal Street. The Lifesaving Center is open to visitors 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, 7 days a week (with last adoptions done at 6:30 pm).

We recommend coming in as soon as possible to meet him as we adopt on a first-come, first-served basis and do not hold or reserve animals.
