[Campaign ended] Urge your senator to vote NO on Senate Bill 157.

In recent years, 3 communities in Kentucky have protected pets and consumers by enacting sensible ordinances to prevent inhumane breeding mills from importing animals to be resold through local pet stores.

Now, the puppy mill industry is trying to undo that progress with a seemingly positive bill that makes it illegal for local governments to regulate them.

If enacted, Senate Bill 157 would void local ordinances and protect unethical breeders, allowing pet stores to continue selling dogs and cats sourced from inhumane breeding mills.
