Three lifesaving bills have passed the Georgia state legislature. Now, they just need your governor's signature to become law!

  • House Bill 331 will effectively prohibit the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits in certain locations (e.g., roadsides, parking lots, flea markets)
  • House Bill 177 will provide protection for household pets in both family violence and dating violence protective orders (aka restraining orders)
  • Senate Bill 20 will provide financial support for licensed veterinarians who practice shelter medicine full time or who practice full time at a nonprofit pet sterilization clinic
