UPDATED: Great News! On June 22, 2021, the Orange County Board of Commissioners voted in favor of an ordinance that will prohibit pet stores in the county from selling commercially bred dogs and cats. Now, use the form to thank the commissioners who voted YES!

This measure will help put an end to the suffering of countless animals in substandard breeding facilities and reduce the number of animals killed in Florida shelters.
Also, by shrinking the retail market for milled pets, more homeless dogs and cats will have a chance to be adopted.
Floridians have made it clear they do not support pet mills. That's why more than 70 cities and counties throughout the state have already passed laws to ban the retail sale of pets from inhumane breeding facilities.
