Record your support of pet-friendly housing in Illinois!

Witness slips are needed ahead of an important Housing Committee hearing on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. 

Submitting a 'witness slip' shows state legislators that you support or oppose something they're considering. 

If enacted, Illinois House Bill 1603 would eliminate breed-based pet restrictions in housing with three or more rental units, while maintaining necessary protections against dangerous dogs.

Instructions: 

Section I: Enter your contact information to show that you are a constituent of the Illinois House of Representatives

Section II: Enter "Self" to indicate that you are representing yourself 

Section III: Select "Proponent" to indicate that you support HB 1603 

Section IV: Select "Record of Appearance Only" to indicate that you will not be physically present at the hearing, but still want legislators to know you support this bill
