Time-sensitive action for Illinois dogs

Actions needed before 9 a.m. March 12!

Complete a 'witness slip' ahead of the March 12 bill hearing.

Witness slips are needed ahead of an important committee hearing on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Submitting a 'witness slip' shows state legislators that you support or oppose something they're considering.

Illinois Senate Bill 2891 contains a harmful provision for dogs in Illinois shelters. Unless subsection (d) is removed or amended, this bill will lead to more unnecessary shelter deaths.
