Position: LMS (Learning Management System) Administrator

Reports to: Senior Manager, Learning and Development

Location: Remote

Hiring Range: This position’s hiring range is anticipated to be $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, plus great benefits!

Position Summary: 

The LMS (Learning Management System) Administrator leads the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Workday Learn as the organization’s enterprise learning platform. In close partnership with IT and program leaders, this role supports the design, organization, and delivery of learning content aligned to organizational priorities and workforce needs. This role also translates LMS data into clear, actionable insights—tracking engagement, completion, and learning trends to inform decision-making and strengthen staff development, leadership consistency, and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a collaborative, mission-driven approach and contributes to a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning 

  • Administer and maintain Workday Learn, including system configuration, user management, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination. 

  • Support LMS implementation and ongoing enhancements, including testing, data validation, and continuous system improvement. 

  • Develop and analyze LMS reports to track training completion, usage, and effectiveness; identify insights and recommend improvements. 

  • Design and develop engaging eLearning using adult learning principles and modern authoring tools. 

  • Partner cross-functionally to support training needs, provide end-user support, and deliver training on LMS functionality. 

  • Drive LMS adoption through communication, training, and user engagement strategies; identify opportunities to enhance the learning experience.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the L&D department.  

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, education, technology, or related field  

  • 3+ years of hands-on LMS administration experience (Workday Learn preferred)  

  • Experience supporting LMS implementation and system configuration  

  • Ability to build and analyze reports and translate data into actionable insights  

  • Experience designing eLearning using instructional design methodologies and tools (e.g., Articulate, SCORM, xAPI) 

  • Experience driving change management and system adoption strategies  

  • Multimedia development skills (video, animation, interactive learning) 

  • Familiarity with HRIS ecosystems and system integrations

  • Strong technical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills 

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite of products. 

 

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):

  • Advanced experience with Workday Learn (e.g., learning pathways, automation, system optimization)  

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, including frequent use of keyboards, mice, and video conferencing tools 

  • Ability to travel up to 5%
