Are you passionate about the lifesaving work we’re doing together? Do you love being part of the Best Friends community? You can share that love with someone special with the gift of a Best Friends membership.

A Best Friends membership makes a great gift for any pet lover in your life. With a shared goal of ending the killing in animal shelters in 2025, members work together with Best Friends to ensure dogs and cats in every community in the U.S. the chance to find a home of their very own.

Every Best Friends member helps save lives

With membership gifts like yours, support goes straight to work helping tens of thousands of animals — both at the Sanctuary and all around the country.

Best Friends operates lifesaving programming around the U.S., including offering low-cost spay/neuter services, running community cat programs, and providing resources to help keep pets in their homes with the families who love them.

The support and devotion of our community of members help make this lifesaving work possible.

The benefits of Best Friends membership

The lucky human on the receiving end of your gift membership will get a one-year subscription to Best Friends' bimonthly magazine, lodging discounts when they visit the Sanctuary, special invitations to events around the country, and quarterly newsletters and email updates to keep them in the loop.

About Best Friends

Best Friends Animal Society is working to save the lives of cats and dogs all across the country, giving pets second chances and happy homes.

Just a few short years ago, cats and dogs were killed in staggering numbers in this country simply because shelters didn't have the community support or the resources to save their lives. That number is now less than half a million per year, but there’s still work to do to ensure a bright future for every dog and cat in America.

Best Friends operates the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals and is committed to saving the lives of homeless pets by working with shelters and passionate people like you. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill in 2025. Together, we will Save Them All.
