Beth Wolfer

Planned Giving Officer

Beth's career in development has spanned more than 25 years, and she has spent more than half of that time raising money and awareness for animal-related causes. Prior to joining the Best Friends family, she led fundraising efforts in Northern California at Canine Companions for Independence. In Utah, positions included director of development and capital campaign manager at Utah's Hogle Zoo. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.

Outside of work, Beth serves as head speaking coach for TEDxSaltLakeCity and teaches public speaking classes to a variety of audiences and individuals. She believes there are few things in life more precious than the animal-human bond and shares her home with four animals, two dogs and two cats.
