Hi, I'm Trini! I’m a 1-year-old brown tabby girl with soft stripes, bright eyes, and just the right amount of sass and sweetness. I’ve officially left my tiny kitten days behind, but I still have plenty of playful energy and curiosity about the world around me. I’m the kind of cat who likes to know what’s going on at all times. Opening a cabinet? I’ll inspect it. Making the bed? I’ll help by sitting directly in the middle. Trying to relax? Perfect — I was hoping for cuddle time anyway. I’ve mastered the important things in life: finding sunny nap spots, looking adorable without even trying, and making humans fall in love with me almost instantly. All I need now is a home where I can settle in, be spoiled properly, and remind you every day how lucky you are to have a tabby sidekick. I’m currently hanging out at the Houston Hub located at 901 Pinemont Drive, Houston, TX 77018. Come by and meet me between 9am-6pm. Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill.
