Hi, I'm Lily! I’m a little black domestic shorthair kitten with a soft coat and bright, curious eyes. I’m still learning about the world and figuring things out one day at a time. I enjoy having a warm place to rest, watching what’s going on around me, and spending time near people. A few things about me: • I like cozy spots to curl up in • I’m getting used to new surroundings • I enjoy gentle attention • I’m a quiet little companion I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe, grow, and become part of your everyday life. About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.
