Hi, I’m Licorice! I’m a tiny black kitten with sparkling eyes, a playful spirit, and just the right amount of mischief. I may be small, but I’ve got a huge personality packed into this sleek little package! I love pouncing on toys, chasing anything that moves, and turning ordinary moments into adventures. When I’m not busy zooming around or exploring every corner of the room, I’m a total cuddle bug. I love curling up in warm laps, soaking up attention, and purring myself right to sleep. My shiny black fur makes me look extra mysterious, but really I’m just a sweet baby who wants love, fun, and a home to grow up in. I’m looking for a home where I can play, learn, snuggle, and be spoiled the way every kitten deserves. If you’re ready for tiny paws, happy purrs, and endless entertainment, I think we’ll be the perfect match! I’m currently hanging out at the Houston Hub located at 901 Pinemont Drive, Houston, TX 77018. Come by and meet me between 9am-6pm. Feel free to text/call 832-342-9411 to let us know you are heading to the center so we can confirm the pet is available. About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
