Hello… I’m Misty! I’m a soft little grey kitten who kind of appears like a quiet morning fog—one minute I’m not there, and the next I’ve gently snuck right into your heart (and probably your lap). I may be small, but I’ve got a whole world to explore. I like to tiptoe into new adventures, watch everything very carefully, and then—when I’m sure it’s safe—pounce with all the confidence of a tiny lion. It’s a very effective system. My fur is the color of a cloudy sky, and my personality is just as gentle. I love cozy places, soft voices, and kind humans who don’t mind a little shadow following them from room to room. Once I know you, I’ll be your quiet companion—always nearby, always ready for a cuddle. Of course, I still have my silly kitten moments. I’ll chase things that may or may not exist, get the zoomies out of nowhere, and then fall asleep in the most random spots like it’s completely normal (because it is). If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly dreamy little friend who will grow up loving you more every day… I think I might be your Misty! I’m currently hanging out at the Houston Hub located at 901 Pinemont Drive, Houston, TX 77018. Come by and meet me between 9am-6pm. Feel free to text/call 832-342-9411 to let us know you are heading to the center so we can confirm Sonny is available. About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
