Saving the lives of homeless pets in Salt Lake City
Best Friends is committed to bringing the entire country to no-kill in 2025, and while incredible progress has been made, we need your help more than ever.
To get across the finish line, we’re bringing lifesaving tactics used here in Utah to shelters and rescue groups across the country. We run the Best Friends Animal Society in Salt Lake City, which takes in over 2,500 animals each year (including neonatal kittens, dogs and cats), provide resources to the community and lead the NKUT initiative.
Based on a foundation of compassion and inclusion, we're working together to help both pets and people. We want to make sure that everyone has the same access to loving pets and that every adoptable pet has the option of residing in the comfort of a foster home rather than in a kennel at a shelter.
