Help end unethical pet sales in Davis County
Urge your county leaders to enact a humane pet sales ordinance.
The Davis County Board of Commissioners will soon consider important legislation that would prevent pet stores from selling puppies and kittens sourced from inhumane breeding mills.
If enacted, a humane pet sales ordinance will help put an end to the suffering of countless animals in substandard breeding facilities and help save animals in Davis County shelters.
And by shrinking the retail market for mill-bred pets, there will be more opportunities for homeless pets to get adopted. That’s why more than 460 cities, counties, and states have enacted humane pet sales legislation.
