Senior kitty finds his Zen among the plants
Where do you keep a pumpkin at an animal sanctuary? Well, here at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the answer is in the greenhouse. That’s because Pumpkin is an orange cat rather than a squash — and he’s much more personable.
A suave senior with an air of independence (and a penchant for snuggling), he moved into the greenhouse to supervise the landscaping team when his building at Cat World was under renovation.
It was the perfect little paradise for him — a quiet place for Pumpkin, who can get a bit overstimulated, to find some Zen. Not to mention, in true jack-o-lantern style, he really lit up the place.
