Ask your city council member to reject detrimental animal ordinance changes
Lubbock, Texas, has made huge strides towards reaching no-kill. That progress is at risk, however, due to proposed ordinance changes that would have a detrimental impact on the ability to save more animal lives.
The proposed changes, like budget reallocation and caps on animal ownership, will shift focus away from saving as many healthy, treatable cats and dogs as possible.
City council will vote on these changes on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
TAKE ACTION: Send a message now asking your city council member to reject harmful ordinance changes. Please also consider attending the city council meeting on January 14 at 2 p.m.
