Animals In Need Fund

Animals In Need Fund is a partner of Best Friends, working together to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country

The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.

From Animals In Need Fund

The mission of the Animals In Need Fund is to: - Provide shelter and veterinary care to dogs and cats who come to us with no owner, to reunite the pet with its owner if possible or to place the pet in a caring adoptive home. - Promote and subsidize sterilization of all dogs and cats. - Enhance the human-animal bond for underserved pets and their owners through education, accessible care, and strict spay/neuter requirements. Brief Overview of Organization Animals in Need Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving South San Luis Obispo and North Santa Barbara counties. The agency provides subsidized spay, neuter, and life-saving surgeries for: a) companion cats and dogs owned by low-income families who cannot afford such procedures; and b) homeless animals, surrendered to Nipomo DogCat Hospital, who are placed for adoption following recuperation. All funds will be used to care for dogs and cats so that they can be adopted into loving homes rather than euthanized.
