Madison Community Cats aka MAD Cats
Madison Community Cats aka MAD Cats is a partner of Best Friends, working together to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country
The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.
From Madison Community Cats aka MAD Cats
No-cost SpayNeuter services to cat owners and colony caretakers in rural Madison and Culpeper Counties, Virginia. Our goals are to: Stabilize the cat population by reducing the number of unwanted kittens born each year, encourage owners to spay/neuter and vaccinate their cats by providing low/no cost options and transportation, assist colony caretakers by providing food and winter shelters, temporarily foster kittens under 8 weeks of age; work with local shelters and larger rescue organizations to assist with adoption, and by achieving the goals listed above, we hope, over time, to reduce the number of cats and kittens surrendered to our local shelters.
How is your community doing when it comes to lifesaving?
Our partners support each other and inspire their own communities to increase lifesaving of dogs and cats across the country.
