Southern Comfort Animal Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that rescues and re-homes abused, unwanted and abandoned dogs.Southern Comfort was founded in 2001 to provide shelter and find temporary foster or permanent homes for dogs left behind when troops in nearby Ft. Stewart's 3rd Infantry Division shipped out to Iraq and Afghanistan.
