Looking for 70 pounds of pure love wrapped in soft fur and sweetness? Look no further — Zenith is your girl! Zenith is the kind of lady who turns heads and melts hearts wherever she goes. She’s got the size of a shepherd and the soul of a marshmallow. Gentle? Check. Cuddly? Double check. Obsessed with hiding toys in mysterious places only she remembers? Absolutely. (Don’t worry — she always goes back to bury them again. It’s part of the master plan.) This sweet, silly goofball LOVES people. All people. Big ones, little ones, the mail carrier — if you’re human, you’re already her best friend. She gives the softest kisses and has the best “please love me” eyes in the business. Zenith prefers to keep the spotlight all to herself, so she’d thrive as the only pet in your home. She’s not a fan of cats (they’re too unpredictable for her elegant tastes), and she can be a bit choosy with other dogs. A drama-free zone is her vibe, and honestly? She deserves it. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, professional toy hider, and expert heart-stealer, Zenith is ready to move in and fill your life with love, laughter, and a whole lot of tail wags.

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
