If Taylor Swift taught us anything, it’s that every girl deserves her own great love story… and sweet Showgirl is finally ready for hers. This gentle, mellow mama arrived with eight tiny puppies, and like the absolute superstar she is, she raised them with all the grace and strength of a woman deep in her Folklore era. Now that her little “Swifties” have found their forever homes, it’s Showgirl’s turn to step into the spotlight and begin her “Begin Again” moment. Who Is Showgirl? A soft-hearted sweetheart who prefers cuddles over chaos. Calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. A nurturing soul who has spent her time caring for others, now she deserves someone to care for her Ready to swap sleepless puppy nights for long walks, cozy naps, and a life that feels like a love song Showgirl’s not asking for much, just a family who sees her the way she sees them: with unwavering loyalty, open-hearted affection, and the kind of devotion that would make even Taylor write another ballad. If you’re ready for a dog who will love you like it’s the best track on the album, Showgirl is ready for her forever home.

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
