Raised on the Native American Reservations with little human contact, Abby entered the rescue world unsure and afraid. But with the help of patient humans, dog friends, and lots of hot dogs, she’s made incredible progress. Abby now walks confidently on leash and is learning to explore new places with her trusted people and best dog buddy. While she isn’t ready for pets or cuddles, she enjoys the company of familiar humans and will approach for treats—her love language is snacks. At home, Abby settles in well and enjoys indoor comforts, but she’ll need a very secure fence to keep her safe from the call of the wild. She’s looking for a calm, adult-only home with at least one confident dog friend to continue guiding her. Abby Cadabby has already come so far, and her journey is just beginning.
