Meet Twister, He is the most wonderful dog in the world. Twister loves being with people and hanging around by your side. He could herd a Jolly Ball around outside for hours and he cools off by just plopping down in pools of water. Twister loves to play and he also loves to cuddle! He is hearing impaired (deaf) but can see a bit and would absolutely make the best friend for anyone.

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.
