Lodging, RV sites and hotels for Best Friends visitors
COVID-19 UPDATE: As of Monday, March 16, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary will be closed to all visitors and non-local volunteers until further notice. Best Friends cares deeply about the health and well-being of our staff and visitors and, although this is a difficult decision to make, we believe it is the best thing to do for everyone’s welfare. You can find additional information here along with contact information should you have any questions or concerns
If you are planning a trip to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, we invite you to stay at our new Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile in Kanab, just a short drive from the Sanctuary. Best Friends also offers cottages, cabins and RV sites, all on the Sanctuary grounds for your convenience.
All of our accommodations tend to book well in advance, so we encourage you to make your reservations early. We also suggest that you book any tours and volunteering stints as soon as you can.

Please note: Transportation is not provided, so you’ll need your own vehicle to get around. The Sanctuary is spread across 4,200 acres, and many of the animal areas are miles apart, so walking is not a viable option and bicycles are not allowed on most Sanctuary roads. You may also want a vehicle to drive to and from the town of Kanab. Volunteers in Dogtown will need access to a car for their entire shift.
