Help end puppy mill sales in Minnesota pet stores

New legislation could help end retail pet sales in Minnesota, protecting consumers and promoting adoption along the way.

House File 2627 would effectively prohibit Minnesota pet stores from selling dogs or cats sourced from commercial breeding mills.

This legislation would encourage Minnesota pet stores to offer pets from local animal shelters and rescue groups instead.
