Support animal-friendly legislation in Massachusetts

The PETS Act, An Act Promoting Pet Equity, Treatment, and Safety recently passed both Massachusetts chambers and is now in a conference committee. This comprehensive animal bill plans to: 

• Ban the retail sale of commercially bred dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs sourced from puppy mills
• End housing discrimination based solely on a dog's size, weight, or perceived breed
• Support and strengthen the state's veterinary workforce and access to care
• Expand pet ownership for older adults in state-aided public housing
• Modernize dog licensing and kennel oversight

TAKE ACTION: Send a message to the conference committee, urging them to adopt and advance all provisions of The PETS Act.
