The Rachael Ray Foundation™ has been a bedrock of lifesaving partnership for Best Friends and the animal welfare community for many years. From the Rachael Ray Save Them All Grants, which empower organizations to save thousands of pets’ lives through essential programs like pet adoption and spay/neuter, to the Rachael Ray No-Kill Excellence Grants, which help animal shelters grow and sustain no-kill success once it has been achieved, The Foundation has set the bar for helping pets and the people who love and care for them.

So, it’s no surprise that The Foundation is once again leading the way for critical support and resources for pets in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of Rachael Ray philanthropies’ efforts to provide whole-family COVID-19 relief, The Foundation has made a $2 million donation to establish the Rachael Ray Save Them All Grants COVID-19 Relief Program at Best Friends Animal Society. Through this program, Best Friends, as one of The Foundation’s longtime and trusted animal welfare partners, will distribute relief funds to organizations on the front lines across the country, such as North Shore Animal League, Austin Pets Alive, Big Dog Ranch, San Antonio Pets Alive and Lost Our Home Rescue.

What’s remarkable about this support is that it’s driven by the fundamental belief that the animals we share our lives with are more than just pets — they’re part of our families. That commitment to acknowledging and supporting the whole family is what sets The Rachael Ray Foundation apart, and makes The Foundation such a beloved partner and beacon of hope for the animal welfare community and the no-kill movement.

Including pets in emergency response and relief plans is essential because of the central role they play in our lives and communities. We are forever grateful to The Rachael Ray Foundation for once again lighting the way for lifesaving and achieving no-kill for dogs and cats nationwide by 2025. Together, we will Save Them All.
