Help end puppy mill sales in Madison pet stores

A new ordinance was introduced on October 7 that would help end retail pet sales in Madison, Wisconsin, protecting consumers and promoting adoption along the way.

The proposed ordinance would effectively prohibit Madison pet stores from selling dogs and cats from puppy mills. Instead, pet stores can partner with local shelters and rescues to promote adoption. 

TAKE ACTION: Send a message to the Madison City Council urging them to support the proposed ordinance and humane pet sales.
