Support animal shelter transparency in Danville

Danville residents: Urge the Danville City Council and Mayor to execute animal shelter software project to improve transparency.

Following the death of shelter dog Eve, and growing concerns around shelter operations in Danville, we are asking for greater transparency into how animals move through the shelter system and how lifesaving decisions are made.

More than a year ago, Danville City Council committed to developing shelter software that would improve transparency, accountability, and reporting. Yet the project has not been completed, and residents still lack answers about its status.

Transparency is essential for building community trust and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes for shelter pets.

Danville residents deserve to know what's happened to the promised software project, what barriers are preventing progress, and what steps city leaders will take to finally deliver on this commitment.

TAKE ACTION: Urge the Danville City Council and Mayor to provide a clear timeline for improving transparency and accountability with the shelter software project.
