Join us August 1-2 at Mountain America Expo Center, and meet hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats of all sizes, types, and ages from Salt Lake City-area animal rescue groups and shelters.

When you adopt a homeless pet from a shelter or rescue group in Salt Lake City, you’re saving the life of a loving and loyal animal. And you’re making space for other pets to find families of their own.

It’s your chance to make a lifesaving difference for animals right here in Salt Lake City

… and to bring home your next best friend!

Stop by for an hour, or stay all day — and bring the family because there's something for everyone to enjoy. We'll have vendor booths, a photo booth, giveaways, Best Friends swag, a delicious food and concessions stand, and of course, hundreds of adoptable pets for you to meet. Make sure to RSVP for free to become a VIP and gain access to exclusive discounts, giveaways, and an extra hour to meet your new best friend. This will be a fully indoor festival so the event will go on rain or shine or sweltering heat! Admission and parking are free for attendees.

The Best Friends Super Adoption is happening August 1-2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mountain America Expo Center in Salt Lake City. All adoption fees at the event will be under $150.

Volunteers will be needed for a host of jobs during the event. Here's how you can get involved.

Volunteers will be needed to assist with setup before and tear-down after Super Adoption at Rose Bowl Stadium. During the event, volunteer opportunities include merchandise sales, volunteer HQ, VIP check-in, dog and cat care, helping participating shelters and rescues with their needs, adoptions facilitation, and more! If you would like to volunteer, follow the link below to sign up for a shift. If you have not already done so, you will need to create a login and profile. Then click on the "Calendar/Shifts" tab to sign up for your job and time!
