Help end puppy mill sales in Delaware pet stores

Delaware residents: Urge Governor Meyer to sign House Bill 131!

Great news — Legislation that will help end retail pet sales in Delaware has passed the state legislature! House Bill 131 is now on its way to the governor's desk.

June 18, 2026: HB 131 has unanimously passed in the House! Please take a moment to ask Governor Matt Meyer to sign the bill into law.

House Bill 131 would effectively prohibit Delaware pet stores from selling dogs and cats. The legislation would encourage Delaware pet stores to offer pets from the state's shelters and rescue groups instead of supporting inhumane commercial breeding mills.

TAKE ACTION: Send a message to Governor Meyer asking him to sign HB 131 and support humane pet sales.
