From Adirondack Save A Stray
Adirondack Save A Stray is a nonprofit organization that takes in stray, abandoned, and unwanted animals. We are a NO-KILL shelter and, therefore, due to space constrictions are limited in our ability to take in each and every unwanted animal. We were founded on the basic premise that all animals should be spayed or neutered, thereby reducing the vast number of unwanted and abused animals. We have always regarded ourselves as progressive and cutting edge when it comes to shelter operations and caring for the animals. In recent years we have grown beyond our expectations and are adopting out close to 2500 animals a year.
