Hi, I’m Orange Chicken! Yes, that’s really my name — and yes, I’m just as sweet, spicy, and unforgettable as it sounds. I’m a three-month-old multi-color kitten with a patchwork coat and a personality that keeps life interesting. One minute I’m bravely hunting toy mice like a fierce jungle cat, and the next I’m flopping dramatically into your lap for cuddle time. Balance is important. I’m still figuring out this whole “being a cat” thing, but I’m already excellent at the essentials: chasing things that move, making people laugh, and looking ridiculously cute while doing absolutely nothing. I love exploring, climbing, playing, and supervising all household activities from my very official kitten headquarters. My dream home would have cozy nap spots and humans who don’t mind being followed around by a tiny furry assistant. I promise to fill your days with purrs, entertainment, and the occasional burst of kitten chaos. If you’re looking for a best friend with colorful looks, goofy energy, and a heart full of love, I think your fortune just arrived. To learn more about me, email adoptions@bestfriends.org. Thanks for adopting!

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
