Are you looking for an extraordinary dog to love and cherish — and do you have experience caring for special-needs pups? If so, come meet Caboodle, a truly one-of-a-kind sweetheart.
Caboodle and his sister Kit were found abandoned as tiny puppies and later made their way to Best Friends. Born in 2016, Caboodle has a neurological condition that affects his balance and coordination. While he moves differently, his personality shines bright — in many ways, he’s just like a playful puppy: joyful, curious, and always ready for fun.
Caboodle loves other dogs and proudly cruises around in his specially designed cart for his daily adventures. He’s also a star at nose work, using his excellent scenting skills in one of his favorite enrichment games.
At home, Caboodle will need some thoughtful accommodations to help him stay safe and comfortable. He’s not housetrained, and he isn’t able to use stairs or a doggy door, so a home set up for easy mobility will help him thrive. What he gives in return is a whole lot of heart, enthusiasm, and affection.
Caboodle is looking for a person or family who can embrace his unique needs and love him exactly as he is. Thanks to a generous sponsor, his adoption fee is fully covered — a wonderful gift to help him find the family he deserves.
If you’re ready to welcome a joyful, resilient, and endlessly lovable companion into your life, Caboodle can’t wait to meet you. 💛
