Meet Dr. Seuss šŸ“ššŸ¾ As lovable as everyone’s favorite storybook author, Dr. Seuss is a gentle soul with a heart full of warmth. He’s more of a ā€œcurl up on the couch and enjoy the quiet chapterā€ kind of guy, bringing a calm, wise presence that makes every space feel a little more peaceful. Dr. Seuss is the definition of a cuddle bug. He’s happiest lounging beside his people, soaking up affection and sharing those cozy, heartwarming moments. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who’s perfectly content being your shadow during a movie night or a lazy afternoon, he’s your guy. While he’s mostly a proud couch potato, he does have a soft spot for a good adventure—especially if it involves a golf cart or a car ride. The second he hears keys jingling, he’s ready to hop in and cruise, taking in the world with that signature calm curiosity. Sweet, soulful, and wonderfully easygoing, Dr. Seuss is searching for a home where he can relax, love, and simply be by your side. If your ideal best friend is equal parts snuggle buddy and peaceful companion, Dr. Seuss is ready to write his next chapter—with you. šŸ’™šŸ¶

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
